The Stanford Diabetes Self-Management Program (DSMP) is an evidence-based, 6 week workshop for adults with diabetes or prediabetes. Participants meet weekly to learn practical self-care skills including healthy eating, physical activity, medication management, blood glucose monitoring, stress reduction, problem solving, and communication with a healthcare provider. The interactive program focuses on increasing confidence and improving daily diabetes management through goal setting and peer support.
