PHP serves ages 5-18. The program is designed to help young people who do not meet medical necessity for inpatient hospitalization, but who need more intensive help than just regular outpatient care. Potential patients will follow our initial assessment process and will be admitted into the program by a physician through a physician’s order. Individuals will be provided four hours of intense group therapy five days a week for approximately four weeks. Patients will also receive individual/family therapy sessions as needed along with a minimum weekly physician and/or nurse practitioner contact.

Arrival time is 7:45 a.m. and patients will be provided breakfast. Therapy programming starts at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 12:30 p.m.. Patients will be provided lunch from 12:30 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. Dismissal for patients who are enrolled in Bowling Green City Schools and other surrounding county schools is 12:45 p.m.
